Funding for Youth Week

The Taskforce provided funds for young people involved with Youth Councils or Youth Reference Groups to run events or contribute to projects during Youth Week.

Thanks to our partnership with the Ministry of Youth Development we were able to provide funds to 40 Councils. The Taskforce also intends to run a workshop for Councils which don’t have Youth Councils, to encourage ways of consulting and involving their young people in Council decision making.
